About Karan
Karan Sharma has always loved numbers. While growing up in India, Karan used to help with record-keeping for his father’s manufacturing business.
He finished his B.Comm. in Punjab and subsequently moved to England for his MBA.
After working in loss prevention for five years, he then made the move to Canada in 2010.
To gain experience with Canadian accounting and taxes, he joined RMI LLP on a volunteer basis.
Shortly after, accounting and helping small businesses to grow became his passion. He then completed his CGA Designation in 2015.
Karan’s role within RMI is to consult business owners with their tax and financial needs.
Karan gives back to the community by serving as a financial consultant at his local temple in Calgary. He takes an interest in the Calgary Flames games, camping, and hiking.
